The Wanderer Returns....

Been a little while since my last post. No specific reason, other than I've been off work for a week, so wanted to make the most of my time with my family. My daughter is a continuous source of joy and amusement and is now walking virtually everywhere. We're off to hospital on Tuesday for the first scan of the new one, so expect pics ;o)

Work sucks as ever. Had a mediocre week last week and I'm meeting my boss on Monday and I'm expecting the usual lecture and threats of "action" if figures don't improve. Forget the fact that I'm in no way the worst, and we are actually, as a team, doing really well. He even gave one of my female colleagues her company car over me, stating that because I was on holiday at the time, she got first dibs ! I've been waiting for my company car since November 2004, but due to administrative incompetence and red tape, I still haven't got one, having to have a hire car, which is not all bad as I escape company car tax. Anyway, one of my former colleagues received a lovely Honda Accord Executive 2.2 iCTDi then promptly resigned a few weeks later. I was hoping to get this car as it went back to the pool, but no, I sadly lack fluttery eyelashes and tits (although some might disagree !) and she was awarded it over me. He even had the audacity to say that if I had sold more I'd get a car (bearing in mind the car is part of the job and a necessity).

Anyway, I managed to track down a Mondeo Ghia X TDCi in the pool and that's being delivered next week.

Got a phone call the other day about a job opportunity, but sadly it's a 3 month rolling contract and you must provide your own car. Although I have a car, it's not suitable to do hundreds of miles a week and would leave Jackie stranded at home. Plus, 3 month contracts do not fill me with a sense of security and I have a family to think of. Shame, but not worth the risk.

Anyway, a few more net observations will follow, plus a link to some sample work I recently did.

Enjoy,

TTFN.
