Nope, probably not. A flash in the pan, one hit wonder from back in the late 80's/early 90's. Big hair, piercings (and a very dangerous chain connecting them all) and "attitude". Well, I, like most I reckon, had forgotten all about her until Shepitology found an article and some links. Browsing through the photo's, there were a couple of pics that warranted inclusion here. More because of the gorgeous Fairlight CMI III than anything else.

Jane's problem was that her music (synth pop) and her personal style (punk dominatrix) didn't go together. Much like Rick Astley (black soul voice, white British guy), the cognitive dissonance brought on by seeing her perform was often difficult to overcome.
If she had looked "normal" at the time, she would have done better.
