Brett Domino Trio - Christmas (This Year)
Firstly, let me take this opportunity to apologise for the extreme lack of posts recently. Unfortunately, my day job has taken a dramatic turn for the worse and today saw the start of the end game. Suffice to say, I have just had an interview for my own job and given that there are 4 of us Trainers and only two new Training jobs, I stand a 50/50 chance. Should hear later this week.
Therefore, my spare time has been mainly used to search for alternative employment whilst trying to prove I am indispensible to my current employer !
Anyway, on a lighter note, I posted a while back about the Brett Domino Trio from Leeds who were avid users of cheap keytars and stylophones. Well, they have a Christmas single out now, called "Christmas (This Year)" and it's a bit of a cheezy belter :o)
See for yourself...
Enjoy !
And I hope to return with some joyous news of my own very soon ;o)

Man that sucks balls :( its one thing to loose a job but you have to do an internal interview to "beg" for it? Total ball suckage right there!
There's a fair chance I could be a "Free Operative" in the new year too. Ah well, I'm spending the money on goodies this Christmas, while the cash is there... blog post on the matter to arrive in the near future :)

It did indeed, as you so delicately put it, suck balls.
However, after a very tumultuous week, I can announce to the world that I was successful and am safe for at least another 6-7 months. Hopefully, in that time, we can prove our worth and get proper extensions, but for now, what joy there might've been has been quashed by the knowledge that two of my colleagues, and friends, didn't get the roles and now face different or uncertain futures. And at Xmas too.
Anyway. Life goes on.
;o)
