What I never understood, and I've seen him wearing this a few times in movie clips from NAMM, is why the guy from Alesis is wearing a lab coat. It hardly seems necessary. Does he have sterile gloves as well?

It's not a lab coat, just an Alesis branded white shirt, worn open and untucked. I have one from that NAMM show. Very nice it is too ;o)

Well, he looks like he should be working in a hospital the way he wears it. Might look good on you, though. You probably use the buttons.
