Musical eBay Gems Part 1

Every once in a while, a gem pops up on eBay that requires a muso's full attention !

I stumbled across these beauties yesterday and got very excited.

Now, normally, those on their own would be enough to make anyone do sex wee in their pants, but take a look at the location. Box, Wiltshire. The very same village that is home to Peter Gabriel's Real World studios.
I brought this to the attention of a friend and also well known music blogger, Tom Whitwell of Music Thing fame. His investigations have found that they actually didn't belong to Peter, but to esteemed producer/musician Chris Hughes, probably best known as Merrick, drummer with Adam And The Ants and producer of Tears For Fears. Better still, the Fairlight II is the exact same one used on the TFF classic "Shout" & Wang Chung's "Dance Hall Days" !!

Now you can see why I'm inconsolable and sat here wishing I had the money to snap these up, even just for the history alone !!
